A packed house at The Chop House restaurant on Wednesday evening for the DDBNs celebration of ‘Donegal Women in Business’ to celebrate International Women’s Day.
We had a lovely evening listening to Ballyshannon woman Andrea Gilligan from Newstalk eloquently discussing with our panel of female trailblazers Mary Coghlan (Consultant, Former Tánaiste, and current chair of Donegal GAA), Rosy Temple (CEO of Magee 1866) and Grainne McNamara (Author and formerly of Goldman Sachs and Wallstreet) their challenges and experiences in life over the years and how they successfully broke down the barriers in the business world near and far.
Many thanks to all our members who attended. Great food in good company. We hope you all enjoyed the night.
One thing was clearly evident from the attendance on the night and that is whatever the gender we are all equal in the DDBN and the support and friendships made through the network are invaluable.
